Hi Mike, not sure how old the turf actually was but a unusually high number of players across all sports fell victim to the same injury i had on it. I played during 2003 – 2007

Good article. How old was that Astroturf? I remember Sprague Field being paved over before the Astroturf was put down when I was a student there 1979-81. Surely it must have been replaced at some point between then and when you were playing.

Awesome article Vin! gave me chills..
I loved watching you guys play,they were really exciting times in RedHawk Football..the story is especially poignant as I witnessed and experienced the same type of pride and emotions when Ben and Morgan went through a similar experience together as Redhawks..
With the fire,heart and passion you guys played with,no surprise your younger brother is a beast!
