I know many people have there own ideas on this but this is mine, feel free to comment.
No trick to this just a lot of grunt work and some knowledge but hey that’s what I’m here for. The easiest and fastest way to rank high in the search engines is to first do some keyword research and find some keywords with decent traffic that do not have a lot of competition.
The easiest way to to do that is you the google keyword tool. Then type the keywords you think have decent traffic into google search and see what comes up in the results. Now your gonna want to check the PR and back links of the websites ranking on the first page. You do that by getting the google toolbar, simple.
You click on the web page and then look at the tool bar, it will tell you what PR that site is. If the site is over 3 move on to the next keyword because it will be too much to work to outrank a valued and credible site of that strength.
You want to look for long tail keywords with 3 or 4 words in a phrase. This phrase should hopefully get at least 50 to 100 unique searches a day.
So you found a good keyword with decent traffic and soft competition on the first page and top 5 results. Great! Next step go to www.ajaxwhois.com and type in that key word phrase to see if it is available with as a domain name.
If it is great REGISER it! If not try adding hyphens in between the words! Why because the serps give higher authority to domains that exact match a phrase being searched for, they also give a “.com” more authority than a “.net” and so on. So remember that as you decide and buy your domain.
