This post will not bash facebook or it’s ad service as it has made me a lot of money and why should I complain about that. However there are some weird things that take place on the ad platform that have me going “WTF”.
What are you talking about you may ask? Well allow me to explain. . . After about 1000 ad submissions I finally got 10 approvals. After those 10 approved ads were running for little while I chose the ones that were most successful and paused the least.
These few ads were acquiring hundreds of thousands of impressions a day for about 2 weeks. Then without any explanation the raging river of traffic slowed to a trickle. WTF?
That’s what I call the black hole. My ideas on the phenomena. Maybe I’m being highly outbid which is an easy fix and I tried with no result or maybe Facebook in all their infinite wisdom just decided that my ads were too old or acquired enough traffic and it’s time for a new fresher ad to take it’s place.
I still have no idea and I do not want to create a similar ad and resubmit them because they will just get disapproved anyway. There you have it the Black Hole of Facebook!
