Preface: I watched this whole video and it’s no secret my political views tend to lean to the right though I stand very liberal in many social arguments, financially and military wise I’m very much conservative but I don’t have anything against people who are democrats or liberal. So with that said after watching this video I though why not send this to a bleeding heart liberal and revel in his outrage. SO i sent it to the biggest liberal i know, my cousin Andrew. I love my cousin more than anything in this world and we don’t argue much but on politics we do, and I don’t mind cuz it’s not personal and we learn a lot from each other. He’s a very intelligent dude so I wanted to share his response with the world. Without further adieu, a hippy’s response to a severely far right conservative video.
I watched the first 15 minutes. I had to stop right there. This guy first of all calls Obama a socialist based off what he said in his inauguration speech, which he never said anything about “big” government. Then he tries to compare why socialism doesn’t work using a tiny class experiment. Because a tiny class experiment is easy to compare to a nation with the largest economy in the world with 300 million people. What a joke. Im not saying I agree with socialism, but the fact that the guy makes ridiculous generalizations like that is absurd and he loses all his credibility in my opinion. Capitalism works with regulation, and the only body that can regulate is the government. Then this guy makes the claim that history teaches us that the New Deal was a great success. I do not know 1 history teacher that claims that the New Deal brought us out of the Great Depression. The New Deal was more a buffer. It did bring down unemployment from
25% to 14%. This guy is spewing B.S. left and right. The fact of the matter is that if you look at big economic dips over the last 100 years, there is a correlation with deregulation (i.e. the great depression and the great recession). Both big wall street failures due to a lack of oversight and special interest. THIS MOVIE IS SHIT.

This guy also briefly mentions how the economy was booming and the government was showing fiscal restraint under Eisenhower. What he fails to mention is that the top income tax rate under Eisenhower was 70%, now compared to 36%. Funny how he leaves that out because it does not fit with his ideology. I have watched 20 minutes of this movie and found 20 minutes of lies and bullshit. THIS MOVIE IS COMPLETE SHIT.
Ok, so there you have it. Now I have to give him credit he did watch a full 5 minutes or at least he said he did, but that’s a lot more than any liberal would ever give a movie like this. At least watch the whole thing before you chastise it. Damn! lol Oh I’m not an idiot I took this movie as entertainment, I’m no history teacher so I can’t validate any of what is said but I do like the analogies and the live footage of the Reagan speaking.
